The awards will be presented in three categories: Health Market Manager, Health Market Doctor and Health Market Event. The winners are selected by the Chapter consisting of the winners of the Portraits of Polish Medicine awards from previous years, representatives of various health care sectors and representatives of the Health Market editorial board.

He is the first Pole in this position, the Centre's chief scientist. He is responsible for its scientific quality and independence and for accurately identifying research priorities. He also heads the Scientific Methods and Standards Department.

Maciej Harat, MD, PhD, Professor of Medicine, coordinator of the Department of Neurooncology and Radiosurgery at the Professor F. Łukaszczyk Cancer Centre in Bydgoszcz
Represents a new wave in Polish medicine. He is a pioneer of an innovative method of diagnosing gliomas. He organised and established at the Oncology Centre in Bydgoszcz the first Department of Neurooncology and Radiosurgery in Poland.

Portrait of Polish Medicine:
In Vitro Programme
Starting the programme “Treatment of infertility involving medically assisted procreation procedures, including in vitro fertilisation, carried out in a medically assisted procreation centre, for the years 2024-2028”. The programme provides full funding for fertility protection procedures for people undergoing oncological treatment.
The award was received by: Izabela Leszczyna, Małgorzata Rozenek-Majdan, Monika Wielichowska and Agnieszka Pomaska.

Institute ‘Pomnik - Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka’
For running the family liver transplant programme, which has been ongoing for 25 years at the Warsaw Children's Health Centre. 500 operations have already been performed there, restoring health and saving patients' lives. The centre is now one of the two largest centres in the world where such operations are carried out.
The award was received by Marek Migdał, MD, PhD, director of the Children's Memorial Health Institute and Piotr Kaliciński, MD, PhD, head of the Department of Paediatric Surgery and Organ Transplantation.

The award was presented to the head of the Department of Paediatric Surgery and Organ Transplantation.
For performing the world's first assisted liver transplant in a patient after organ trauma sustained in a traffic accident.
