
Igor Radziewicz-Winnicki
Igor Radziewicz-Winnicki, MD, PhD – President of the Management Board, PZU Zdrowie SA
Igor Radziewicz-Winnicki is the President of the Management Board at PZU Zdrowie SA. He is a practicing pediatrician and a public health expert. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Silesian Medical Academy in Katowice (2001) where he earned his PhD in medical sciences in 2006.
Igor Radziewicz-Winnicki has actively took part in shaping Polish healthcare system. From 2012 to 2015, he worked as the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Health, being responsible for implementing national pharmaceutical policy. He supervised the introduction of the Reimbursement Act as well as managed the regulations on the pharmacy market, drug reimbursement process and terms of medicinal products distribution and trade. He also played a key role in drafting the Act on Infertility Treatment.
Between 2016 and 2024, he was the Medical Director of the Praski Hospital in Warsaw, supervising pharmaceutical processes and successfully leading the reorganization of the management and quality system.
He is an academic lecturer, author, and co-author of numerous scientific publications in the fields of public health and pediatrics. He actively participates in both international and national scientific societies and research groups.
