Roman Sosnowski
Doctor Roman Sosnowski has worked as a urologist in the UroOncology Department of Maria Sklodowska - Curie Memorial Cancer Center in Warsaw, Poland since 1997. During specialist training in urology he also worked in the Urology Department of Postgraduate Medical Center in Warsaw accredited by European Board of Urology. Years ago, he did his Ph.D. on the history of urology. He became a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) in 2005. He did several internships abroad in leading urological departments (Aarhus Univeristy Denmark, Klinikum Kassel Germany, Memorial Sloan-Kattering Cancer Center, New York USA). His special interests include diagnosis and treatment of urinary cancers and he has been an author or co-author of several publications in that field. Moreover, he is actively supporting substantive patient associations, students and nursing staff. He is running a European Union funded grant concerning health awareness (Mężczyzna 45plus).
